Try converting some of them to control arrays.

Yes you can only have 254 named controls per form. But control arrays only count as 1 towards that limit, and each control array can have 32,768 controls.

But the couple times I've hit that limit, I really started thinking I should reconsider the design since my form was looking like an airplane cockpit.
