    Visual Studio errors

    I'm trying to open a visual basic project in Visual Studio 2022. In the Error List window I'm getting the error: The "ResolveComReference" task returned false but did not log an error. I can't seem to determine what is causing this or how to resolve it but I don't think I can build a new project or solution until I resolve this error. Can someone help, Thanks

    My first suggestion would be to delete your bin/release directories then do Build > Clean and Build > Build Solution.

    9 times out of 10 that resolves those odd/uncommon errors.
