Bias by moderators in online chatrooms can be identified and fixed, new research finds
https://www.freep.com/story/news/pol...t/75993590007/
Those findings come as the University of Michigan released a new study last month probing how political bias in content moderation on social media feeds has the effect of creating so-called echo chambers.
Researchers said the negative impact of this phenomenon can lead to a distorted view of what's normal.
In some cases, this could subvert democratic norms, they said, by radicalizing individuals, permitting misinformation and reducing trust in the outcomes of elections if they run counter to the skewed world created in online chat rooms.
Hmm.

You weren't called out for your politics, you were called out for your racism. You called a black man "Uncle Tom" and referred to his place of business as "the plantation". I asked you not to do that, you doubled down, so you got a warning.
You've been posting your politics for 6 pages and haven't been called out once for it.

I guess woke boys have some months ago to try to destroy and kill more people but will they actually have full power to do so as they are only typically in power?

There is almost no cheating in US elections. Various Republicans have talked about it, and some have gone looking, but as far as I am aware, the only moderately organized cheating operations have proven to be on the right, which probably discouraged them from looking anymore.
I hope I can still afford to retire in a year.
Also, there IS another shoe left to drop. Trump spent the first few of the last four years hinting at a major medical issue that might prevent him from running. He then refused to disclose any medical records. So, is it there, and if so, what is it? There's one pretty obvious answer, since the "IQ Test" he was bragging about at the end of his first term is actually a test given sequentially over time to measure the progress of dementia.
It may also be nothing, since he didn't explicitly say that the thing that might prevent him from being able to run was medical, but...no other reason makes a whole lot of sense. It wouldn't be the first time, either. Roosevelt ran for his last term when it was pretty clear he wouldn't survive it, and didn't come close, while Reagan was almost certainly showing signs of the Alzheimer's that killed him soon after he left office (we might know for certain in about fifteen years).

Yeah, pretty much, since they weren't insanities. Seven abortion rights measures passed, and there would have been an eighth if Florida didn't require a super majority (which they nearly got). The conservative social issues didn't win. Where they were explicitly on the ballot, they lost with the exception of South Dakota (Nebraska is mostly weird, since they muddied the water so thoroughly). It was pretty much the economy from start to finish. Inflation happened under Biden. No sitting president has survived that since....well, I'm not sure if they have EVER survived that, since modern economic record keeping has been around.

I don't know whether Biden was in top condition or not. I'm basing that on what Trump said and did. You don't just decide, "today's a fine day...I think I'll get tested for dementia!" We have a bajillion different tests one could take, including plenty of (dubious) IQ tests, if he wanted to take an IQ test. Why choose that one? Why choose ANY test? There may well be legitimate reasons, but none have ever been given. Trump then stated in a few interviews that "things" might prevent him from being able to run. That can also be several different things, but there aren't many that are likely other than health issues. Legal trouble, perhaps, but he made those statements long before he had been in court, and he certainly never thinks he'll lose, so that seems unlikely.
As for being removed, if he is, it will be by his own people.

That may be the case. I have no idea whether elderly presidents, all presidents, or...well, anybody else, gets routine cognition tests. They might. It wouldn't be a bad idea, when it comes to presidents, but the results would end up being suppressed simply because there's no mechanism to do otherwise. Still, I don't know a single elderly person who has taken such a test, just in case. When you couple that with his curious statements about some issue, it does make me wonder.
I was saying that a couple years ago, too, because it's the most likely answer. It's not the ONLY answer, though, so we'll see...or maybe we won't. Some presidential records are sealed for 50 years after they leave office...or maybe after they die. Perhaps we won't see any of Carter's records this century?

Yeah, I can understand why too. Everytime I go to the grocery store the last few years inflation is obvious. That's a big part of peoples budget. I'd also add in the cost of housing. Don't know about other states but it's a real problem here in CA. I know inflation is back down in the 2% range but the damage was done. That said, I don't think Trump/Republicans are going to make the situation any better. I just hope they don't make it worse.

No, that was the date the 2020 election was certified. By law the inauguration takes place between 73 and 79 days after the presidential election. So it will be January 20th, 2025. Hopefully Biden can stay awake through the whole thing.

Biden's first act in office was to reverse all of Trump's energy policies causing fuel prices to skyrocket. And when fuel costs more everything else follows. Of course all that money printing (and a lot of it was at the end of Trumps' first term) certainly didn't help, either. Those policies will go back into place January 20.

I'll sell you my house in Cleveland right now for $120K. Nice neighborhood and lowest crime rate in the city 'cause all the cops live here. There are advantages to living in an area no one else wants to. lol

What type of fuel are you referring to?? If it's gas then yes there was a spike after exceptionally low gas prices in 2020. But those low prices were due to a glut of oil because of COVID. I don't know what energy policies your talking about.

Why is that an election impact? Germany has been heading down steadily. The government coalition is very unpopular and the economy is in the toilet. That was true last week, it isn't any less or more true today.
