I am having fun. Not sure whether it was actually fun though.
Double sonic boom above my house in Norfolk, turned out to be an RAF Typhoon jet going supersonic to intercept an Air India flight with a potential hijack/bomb situation, now in holding pattern over Norwich before dumping fuel and diverting to Heathrow. Fun? well, my black cat flew three feet into the air, defecated and then landed, safely, of course.

Re: Is everybody having fun?
Yesterday was "fun" ... something that's been 6 moinths in the making finally worked... after weeks of troublshooting and configuration updates... so that was fun. Today and tomorrow is all about survival and then I'm off for 9 days (a week and two weekends) ... I plan on logging out of the company's slack workspace, turning off all alarms, and all notifications. I haven't been on vacation in over a year and it shows. I just wish I was actually going somewhere. Instead I'll be doing things around the house and doing doctor appointments and getting my annual vaxxings done... but the point is that I. will. not. be. doing. anything. work. related. period.

I didn't know until recently that the sonic "boom" is actual constant. The "Boom" is from where you are listening.
A sonic boom is a continuous effect that occurs as long as an object is traveling faster than the speed of sound:
Shock waves: As an aircraft flies supersonic, it generates shock waves that spread across the landscape.
Conical region: A conical region of low pressure forms behind the object.
Boom: When the cone passes over an observer, they hear the boom.
Observer location: The boom is only heard by observers in a conical region behind the object.
Observer movement: If an observer moves with the plane at the same speed, they hear continuous booms.
Boom width: The boom is about a mile wide for every thousand feet of altitude.
Sonic booms sound like thunder because they are caused by shock waves expanding around a source. Other things that can create sonic booms include bullets and the
Please remember next time...elections matter!

Nah... You could have it create an image to complete a design of yours. It makes alot of mistakes, so I don't see it replacing graphic designers any time soon.

Created an external app that maps steps I do to an image in an extremely old version of Photoshop, which could be replayed to edit other images that need these steps. Works like a charm!
I could buy a newer version of Photoshop that could create or install actions made for it. I just like the challenge of filling in gaps with old software.

The fire is burning brightly, the room is just beginning to heat up from the night, the wood supply was stacked yesterday (with only a little back pain), and...there's the lightest amount of snow falling. That last item is a bit of a surprise, considering there isn't supposed to be any. I believe this is just frozen fog, filtering to the ground. Very odd.

Thought it was gonna be fun designing a new market for artists on an offline server today. You wont believe how many hours I wasted, trying to figure out why I couldn't get MySQL and phpMyAdmin to work properly with XAMPP before I got to coding.
I wasn't logged into my system as admin.

Re: Is everybody having fun?
Fourteenth Day of Advent, Mediaeval Christians used to fast and prepare themselves for Christmas, one that started on the 25th December and lasted for 12 days, feasting every day.
Generally, pushed by the power of advertising and pressure to purchase and consume we now tend to have Christmas the other way round, all the events happening before Christmas and giving up the feasting on the day after Christmas Day (known here in the UK as Boxing Day).
In my family I push somewhat toward the older style ensuring that we feast every day of the twelve days of Christmas.
It doesn't stop me from having fun before Christmas though, so I am having my cake and eating it!
Tonight a pint and a half of Lacons Christmas Ale with a bowl of battered prawns dipped into sweet chili sauce, then later, a Yorkshire pudding full of beef Bolognese.

IS everyone having fun? It is almost Christmas...
Sparkling English wine in a tall glass, eating various liquorice items on top a tummy full of prawns. Watching Lord of the Rings Extended Edition in 4K, fire lit, candles in wall sconces making the room seem quite mediaeval. Looking forward to Christmas Eve. What are you up to?

Re: Is everybody having fun?
Thankyou Wes, the question as to whether everyone is having fun seems to be more important this evening in particular. We are expected to have fun on New Year's Eve. I am sitting down with a bottle of fizz, a lit fire, a box of quality street toffees and watching "all quiet on the Western Front" which seems appropriate as nothing exciting ever happens on my New Year's Eves.

I'm guessing a bottle of fizz means champagne. For some reason when I drink, I don't really like sweets. I really like salty.
No drinking for me tonight don't want this flu to make a comeback. I don't usually celebrate New Years anyway. I think the last New Years party I went to was 2000.
