Does This Sound Legit to You

I'm seeking a computer programmer skilled in Pandas, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, and Tkinter for GUI development. The project requires HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the front end, with Flask, Django (Python), or Node.js (JavaScript) for the backend. While I have some existing code, its quality is uncertain. The specifics I mentioned aren't crucial; the primary concern is ensuring the project functions properly. If you're interested in collaborating on this project, please feel free to send me a message. THANK YOU
One of my neighbors posted it on Nextdoor.com... To say she's "strange" would be an understatement.

Well Pandas and Tkinter are for Python and Python is mentioned for Django - so the post seems OK. So I'd guess they're looking for a Python programmer with some knowledge of the specified libraries together with some JavaScript skills.

Well that rules me out as I won't touch Python due to it's indentation requirements.

Yeah, it looks legit but NextDoor.com is a weird place to post it

It's like anything else - a real crapshoot. A person can reach 5k to 25k neighbors in a matter of minutes which can come in handy.

BUT - they are using AI to moderate..... I posted a Short Reel from Facebook that should had made everyone cry. (8 year old getting a new kitty) and the AI removed it....A human reviewer reached out and told who the four neighbors were that voted to go a head and remove it.....

Then there was the time we had a discussion about HURRICANES... Some people were arguing about who is the best TV Weather Person..... My post suggesting that people step outside if they want to know about the weather was removed....

Now you know why I'm so mean all the time

Did you follow up? Any updates you can share? I've never used NextDoor, so I have no idea what the scam/legit ratio is there, but it sounds to me like someone who either:

A: Works at a job where a developer quit or got fired and no one there is in a position to take it over or knows a lot about where the project has been left at.

B: Got hired/promoted to a job that they are not at all qualified to do and needs bailing out.

Don't get me started. Nextdoor tries real hard to NOT be like Facebook, yet ND copies everything they can.

Their "Recent" post sort option is broken.... If you only read a post and didn't bookmark it - it just keeps sinking. Finding it is real difficult. If you posted you get notifications if the thread updates.

In other words - I haven't seen the thread....but will actually look for it.
