Nope, to me programming is a career, not a hobby. I get enough programming on the job. I did participate in collaborations writing stories. They usually started with "It was a dark and stormy night". They never ended well...
Please remember next time...elections matter!

Sure thing. Exactly your question. We're trying to make a VB6 game

Yes, I have collaborated with other devs. Not deeply with my VB6 projects except for the helpful chaps here. With my .js projects I have a mentor and collaborators that are very helpful with bright brains.
I am making some money with the .js projects but none with the VB6 projects. The VB6 projects give me satisfaction and an outlet for my graphical UI skills, such that they are. I use VB6 to teach myself the skills that I lack in other languages, using accessibility to methods via a language with which I feel familiar. Then I learn to apply them to .js and that leads to exposure to other methods that I try to understand and then apply back to VB6.
I also collaborate on other development projects giving such skills that I have, even when my language capability is poor. I do some documentation for ReactOS from time to time.

By the power invested in me, all the threads I start are battle free zones - no arguing about the benefits of VB6 over .NET here please. Happiness must reign.
