Runtime Error '326' Resource with identifier '0' not found
Hi, I just started getting this error when running an application on a Windows 10 PC. I think it might be related to a VBscript.
Runtime Error '326' Resource with identifier '0' not found
It worked fine yesterday and this morning when the machine was turned on I got that error. When I click 'OK' it just closes the application. I have tried some of the youtube fixes like the "wsreset" and using the command prompt "sfc /scannow". I can't risk re-installing the program in question so I was wondering if there is another possible fix. Or if anyone has more insight into what the problem might be.
Thank you for any help,
Walks

You could look for any recent Windows Updates and uninstall them to see if they are the cause.

Re: Runtime Error '326' Resource with identifier '0' not found
Thank you for your reply. The computer isn't connected to the internet so there wouldn't have been any updates on it. The last windows update was August 2021.
Unfortunately, it seems like the last thing to try would be to re-install the software and I don't have access to do that. The vendor has to do that and they are all on vacation until the end of the month! Darn Europeans and their better work culture...
Unless anyone has other ideas, I think I might be SOL until they come back.

Oh crap! That is a horrible situation.
You could also try looking in the Windows Event viewer to see if anything of use is logged there.

I did check the event log and compared any errors or warnings I saw before and after the issue started. There wasn't really anything that stood out to me. I'll post an update when this hopefully gets fixed.
Thank you for your help!
