I will definately look into that!

However, I started to design something BEFORE or while you posting that.. Granted it's NOT perfect, However I think something like this would be cool as heck.. You definately need to look at form1 design.. I think I did a god job in designing it.. I NEVER said I could make it work.. However, I think it's still a nice concept!

I still think MY design is more simple and right to the point IF I had someone work on it with me.. I forgot to have the HEADERS bold option.. I'll add option now to the design.

You really can't get more simple / basic than that.. It literally is right to the point..

Hey Mongoose....good to see you trying different things as you begin learning VB6. However, I see you have overcomplicated it A LOT!

First, although Faf is an excellent programmer (eons ahead of me), there are simpler ways to do your menu. But, if you are happy with that, so be it.
Second, why do you have a second form? Why not just use the main form to display the information (including the grid)? Would be SO much simpler.
Third, I downloaded your zips (posts #20, 24 and 32). Post 20 has your database included, the other two did not. IMO you were closer to a solution with post #20.
Fourth, I wish I knew what your final results would look like when one uses the menu system. What goes in the grid? There is not much in the DB to really tell what you are trying to do.
Fifth, yes, the vbFlexGrid is a vast improvement over the MSFlexGrid, but as far as centering, formatting and other functions related to cells, columns and rows, the MSFlexGrid (and MSHFlexGrid) are not that hard to do. Been using MSFlexGrid for epochs, and only recently (about 3 years ago (????)) I started using the vbFlexGrid (versions 1.3 and then 1.6). It does add SOME simplicity as stated above.
Finally, instead of attempting to rebuild a GRID control, use the MS or VB ones. And give us some idea (with pictures---even maybe created in Excel) how you would like the grid to look.

I'll check back in a bit to see your comments. Go Hornets! :-)
Sam I am (as well as Confused at times).

Yeah definitely don't need two forms for the menus, no idea why that's like that, but didn't want to add to the confusion by rewriting it all as one form.

Also, I've been playing around with modifying my ucAniGif control to put an animated image moving on a path... Mongoose, do you already have a transparent animated gif of your specific mascot? I did find some other ones but obviously won't look identical.
