In Chit Chat, you're going to find a lot of us old-timers here, but for the whole forum, users range from teens on up, all looking for coding help.

Late 60's. I go back to punched cards, paper tape, no permanent storage and no interactive input/output - just batch!

How did you find this forum while looking for the longest swear word? Were you searching by random walk?

Besides, swear words are short. Swear phrases are long, and can be mushed together so that they end up sounding like a single word.

Actually the longest swear words is when Greek women catch you with another woman. It's starts today and end sometime when you are in your late 80's with "you don't have a word in this as you cheated me back then you old blablablah"...Yeah, now that I think of it, it actually might go all the way to the grave when you are finally resting but you have her up there crying "why did you leave me you cheating bastrd, now what will I do blah blah blah"... So the moral of the story is, don't cheat on Greek women.

That thread is hilarious. However, to be pedantic: That's not a single word, nor is what Sapator is talking about. Speaking without taking a breath does not a word make.

I failed as a curator. I give up on this thread.
I got the longest swear but it will get block, but it starts something like ****** and ends in something like ******

RegEx creates the longest swear, no matter how you look at it.

If you joined in 2004 and you were 24 and now your 42, there is something wrong with that math. Kids don't learn nuttin in college nowadays.

Does it count if, for example a grandpa starts swearing on some kids, you kids get of my lawn you @#$@$#@#$ and then falls asleep and wakes up and complete the sentence? Does white noise count as a continuation of the word till it's conclusion?
