It's pretty easy to take something for granted....till it's gone.
Then again, the first time I ever posted in a forum I was connecting via 56k baud dial up modem. (got my issue resolved too)

As there doesn't seem to have been any reported issues since 2 August and not withstanding fate, I've finally marked this thread as resolved. IMO if further issues now arise then a new thread should be started.

The site was completely unresponsive for 10-15 minutes. It became usable again a few minutes ago.
