And I just tried clicking "Reply with Quite" on my iPhone, and got the little spiraling dots endlessly, so we're now in a situation where we have one report of it working and several of it not working. I'm thinking it's still broken.

It'd sure be nice to get an update though on whether anyone is even working on it.

so we're now in a situation where we have one report of it working and several of it not working.
    To be fair, OP stated
All toolbars and everything is presesent with iOS 17.3.1 on Iphone 15.
    No mention of "working"

Yeah....I keep checking the part of this forum for chit-chat/issues...some good responses....Olaf seems to have pinpointed a (the) possible cause, and that information has been forwarded 'upstairs' (wherever that is) by the moderators (who don't 'run' the sites). Would be nice if mods would put a thread on EACH of the various sub-forums (at the top possibly) with any and all updates. That way we don't have to keep searching the various fora to see.

Well, yesterday was Tuesday, so maybe there is a Randomizer involved somewhere..

Another little problem: provided “AS IS” without warranty (from Elroy's signature). Seems to be the character encoding, probably Utf-8 not recognised as such.

Moved to general discussion, this is not a VB6 thread.

Well, https://forums.codeguru.com/index.php is broken too, so this is a problem even more pervasive than VBForums. They're clearly owned by the same company (TechnologyAdvice), as they admit it.

This actually gives me encouragement that they'll eventually get it fixed, given how widespread this problem is. And hopefully, they'll review their "commit changes" review process, and also implement more alpha-testing. If this had happened on any type of commercially (for users) sensitive site, heads would be rolling.

Yes, there are many issues happening across VBForums and its "sister" sites.

Steve has been working to resolve this for a while now.

Ah, that's because you have the British version. In the US, that would be "Reply with Quote", since we don't tend to use that phrase over here.

Mac OSX Sonoma .. Brave browser (chromium based) 1.62.162 ... the above was created using "Reply with Quote" ...so that's working for me... haven't tried the toolbars yet. (they appear... cannot vouch if they work).
