    Post Generic Mobile Question

    Good Day,

I am totally a newbie with coding. I want to develop a program to work in Android and OIS.
I am using VS 2019 and if I do a DB, I am using MS Access.

The options for Android looks like I have to use C#, C++ or so?
It appears the only option like a Windows Form is Xamarin. I do not know what is Xamarin.

How big can one go with a Smartphone or Tablet space and memory wise?

This App will be a Safety Assessment App where the user will have to add areas, locations various equipment proposed to be installed and so on.

The DB will probably consist of +- 500 items.

I also see that VS Android is version OREO. Will this be sufficient for newer Devices?

I do not know whether my post is in the correct place.

    Thank You in Advance.

Xamarin does not load the forms or show the icon

I don't think it is. Or... it may be ... but it shouldn't have been a reply to the original post... it should have been it's own post.

I'll notify the mods and they'll move it to a more appropriate location.
