Xamarin mobile app using bluetooth, how?

I am trying to make a mobile app using VS2022 and Xamarin which can talk to an ESP32 board using bluetooth. I have so far made a very simple app with some buttons and pop up message, compiled and deployed onto my Android phone. It's a kind of 'hello world' tutorial app to test the SDK and the process if creating an app. This is all working fine so far.
But I need to use the phones build-in BT to talk to another device but I cannot find any helpful information by google searching.
I don't really know where else to look. Does anyone have any ideas?
Does VS have any built in support for BT?
