[RESOLVED] VS 2019 License expired issue
I just used PCMover to transfer my programs windows 10 to a new Windows 11 machine. Everything went pretty smooth except for my Visual Studio versions. I get a license expire screen. When I tell it to look for an updated license I get "We could not download a license. Please check your network connection or proxy settings" VS is still working fine on my old machine.
I did some searching and tried the possible fixes. None have worked so far. Before I do an uninstall and reinstall I thought I'd ask if anyone here knows why this is happening.
Thanks

Re: VS 2019 License expired issue
What edition of VS 2019 are you using? How is it licensed on the old machine? I'm guessing Community and via a Microsoft account but we shouldn't need to guess.

Also, screenshots of the two licensing dialogues might help.

Re: VS 2019 License expired issue
BTW - This is a standard home single user desktop PC. One user account with ADMIN privileges. I only have one Microsoft account. I've never setup a proxy. VS on my old PC still works fine.
EDIT: Well I bit the bullet and installed it(couldn't even find it in my "Installed Apps". And it works.

Should have bit harder and moved to VS2022.

I will but I like having previous versions of VS installed. Not all questions here are 2022 version questions.
I have 2010,2015, 2017, 2019 on my old machine. Plan on adding 2022 once I get the new machine setup the way I want.
