[RESOLVED] Copied Solution Identifier
Hi,
I'm not sure if this will be the correct forum so apologies if not.
I have a solution for one client that will be the basis as a solution for a new client, it will basically be the same just with different company logo and a few tweaks.
I copied the whole solution, changed the solution and project name in all files, changed any reference from the old client and did my changes. I've noticed that I can't run both client's projects at the same time, it must recognise the process or something.
Does anyone know if there is a file I can change or a setting to make it a new unique solution? Is the GUID in Assembly Information anything to do with it?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Copied Solution Identifier
This probably should have been posted in the .NET Architecture & Design forum.
I'm not 100% sure as I've never tested it directly but I think that you need to open the Application page of the project properties, click the Assembly Information button and then change the GUID field. Note that VS has a tool for generating GUIDs, on the Tools menu.
