Create mp3 or wav file from text

I use Microsoft Speech Object Library to listen to text.

Any idea how to SAVE what I listen to as an mp3 file (preferred) or a wav file?
Sam I am (as well as Confused at times).

for mp3 u need to be able to encode it.
I think its possible with directsound, but never tried.
I think The trick could answer.

I use it to "decode" mp3 into wave/pcm files so it can be played.
using acmStream API. so it should be possible to do the reverse.

    acmStreamOpen Lib "msacm32"
acmStreamConvert, acmStreamClose and so on. maybe u can google it and find samples.

    Oh, yes I can!

The DLL, wavefx32.dll, is infecting your project:

    Project1.exe, I get 4 warnings:
    https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/...e2fd?nocache=1

Scanning your entire zip gives me 5:
    https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/...9fae/detection

Seven security vendors are flagging your project as malicious.

I want your money in dollars!

Because your zip was flagged as malicious, so you know not to upload it again. Executables are not allowed to be uploaded to VBForums, even if it's zipped with other files.

Tuffan, if you tested your project, your PC is probably infected.

unlikely its infected. VB6 projects often result in false-positive.
make a empty project and compile it and it will result in something. antivirus tools don't like VB6.
it need to be +10 result to even consider it dangerous and preferable from the "big" companies such as Kaspersky, McAfee, ESET-NOD32 etc.

said that, releasing compiled executables and compiled dll are not allowed in the forum
because u "never know". if its malicious. could result in "0" result and still do some harm.

compile it and reupload it on virus total.
let me know what you get.
please understand it can give false and positive it is not accurate with some antivirus.

WOW, talk about hijacking a thread. Tsk tsk.
Any software I post in these forums written by me is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, and permission is hereby granted, free of charge and without restriction, to any person obtaining a copy. Please understand that I’ve been programming since the mid-1970s and still have some of that code. My contemporary VB6 project is approaching 1,000 modules. In addition, I have a “VB6 random code folder” that is overflowing. I’ve been at this long enough to truly not know with absolute certainty from whence every single line of my code has come, with much of it coming from programmers under my employ who signed intellectual property transfers. I have not deliberately attempted to remove any licenses and/or attributions from any software. If someone finds that I have inadvertently done so, I sincerely apologize, and, upon notice and reasonable proof, will re-attach those licenses and/or attributions. To all, peace and happiness.
