Pin App Icon to Windows Taskbar
Hi,
When publishing an app it is possible to specify that app's icon (shortcut) be placed on the desktop. So when the user installs the application the shortcut is automatically placed on the desktop.
Is it possible (and if so how) to "pin" that shortcut to the Windows Taskbar (when the application is installed)?

Re: Pin App Icon to Windows Taskbar
Are you using ClickOnce for deployment, i.e. the publishing functionality built into VS? the answer to the first question would be "yes", but exactly how to do it would depend on the deployment technology. The answer to the second question may be "yes" for some installers but not for ClickOnce.
