    Looking for Web Development Work

I'm looking for web development contract (1099) work. I have experience with:
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • JavaScript
      • Plain JavaScript
      • jQuery
      • Angular
    • PHP
    • MVC.NET
    • SQL
    • NodeJS
      • SQL Server 2008 on up
      • MySQL
      • * NoSQL

    * I have some NoSQL experience using MongoDB, but I wouldn't say that I'm particularly comfortable with it.

More often than not I work with a component library like Bootstrap, Kendo-UI, Material, datatables, etc. however I have written components from scratch before too.

If you or someone you know has work that needs to be done, please reach out either via private message or by email at david_d_day at outlook dot com.

Thank you, I've updated it to include MVC.NET. Not sure how I forgot about that considering that's what I do for my 9-5 job.

With regards to systems being easily "hacked", I think that comes down to two things:
    1. The language is no longer being developed
    2. The developer is making poor decisions

While PHP is still being actively developed, unfortunately there have been far too many bad code examples in PHP that do make their way into production. I personally try to understand the code I write before blindly copying/pasting it.

I also have a thread in the Code It Better forum that explains the PHP architecture that I've setup here: https://www.vbforums.com/showthread....t-Architecture if you find vulnerabilities I'll be happy to plug them.
