    Bug Taste

I wanted to create a dummy bug. Please don't run this if you don't understand the code. Moderators and administrators please don't pull this down, it is purely for educational purposes. I have tried to comment every part.

The question is... would this cause me trouble?

If this is allowed on this site, the vb general forum isn’t the place to post it. You should post it in the codebank…

    Yeah, it would cause trouble.

This site does not allow you to post compiled code. Please remove the bin and obj folders from the project and re-upload it.

I was thinking it’s in the wrong forum too?

    Re: Bug Taste

Ok, and what is the purpose? Bugs don't really DO anything, except cause errors. You ask whether this would cause you trouble, and if you really meant a bug, then yes, it will cause you trouble so long as the code is actually run. That would be because a bug would prevent the code from running correctly. Therefore, I think 'bug' might not be the right word, or you aren't asking quite the right question. So, what are you looking for? A way to solve the bug? What the bug is? Or something else?

It's posted as a dummy bug, but what it could be is malicious. Why is it allowed here for discussion in the forum?

It's not a dummy bug. It's worse, it's a half-assed virus engine. The link has been removed, the thread has been closed.
