    VB shortcut to open the installed software

    Hi good day. Im new to VB. I created form with buttons link to a folder.
    My question is, when Im in desktop, if I press the Letter M in keyboard, it automatically open the maple.exe

    In short, how to open the software thru shortcut key. Just lettter M only.
    Please help me thanks.

    Is maple.exe your application? Your software would have to be running to process keyboard input.

    Create a shortcut to run your program. Use Explorer to examine its Properties, where you can assign a shortcut key combo to invoke the shortcut and thus your program.

    You can't just steal "M" so you'd have to set some combo like Ctrl-Alt-M, Shift-Ctrl-M, etc.
