    Re: Cannot Register vbzip11.dll

    did you elevate to register?
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next

dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part

come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed

    hi westconn1,

    I have tried following methods:

    1. Fresh install of the Windows 7 and Windows XP (both are 32 bits) that without any Anti-virus / Firewall.
    2. Register using Administrator Mode. (cmd -> run at Administrator)
    3. I also tried download the vbzip11.dll from the GitHub again.

But after that it still fail to register the vbzip11.dll. It will show "DllRegisterServer Not Found" error message. Both Info-ZIP and vbaccelerator are out of support now. I can't find any information from their website and search in Google. Thank you so much for your help!

If I remember correctly that's not an ActiveX DLL, so you can't register it:
    http://www.vbaccelerator.com/home/VB...s/article.html

    hi Arnoutdv,

But I remember that can be registered by using regsvr32.

    Re: Cannot Register vbzip11.dll

    Requires: Info-ZIP's Zip32.DLL v2.32, renamed to vbzip10.dll
    Code:
'This assumes zip32.dll is in your \windows\system directory!
Private Declare Function ZpInit Lib "vbzip11.dll" (ByRef tUserFn As ZIPUSERFUNCTIONS) As Long ' Set Zip Callbacks
Private Declare Function ZpSetOptions Lib "vbzip11.dll" (ByRef tOpts As ZPOPT) As Long ' Set Zip options
Private Declare Function ZpGetOptions Lib "vbzip11.dll" () As ZPOPT ' used to check encryption flag only
Private Declare Function ZpArchive Lib "vbzip11.dll" (ByVal argc As Long, ByVal funame As String, ByRef argv As ZIPnames) As Long ' Real zipping action

See, this makes it clear that it's not an ActiveX dll

Oh! Then I may need to check the program again. Thank you for your help!
