CodeShine available somewhere for refactoring
I was wondering if anyone here still has a working version of the CodeShine add-in that makes refactoring possible.
Im cleaning up my own coding and have tried to use RubberDuck's refactor method, but it seems codeshine would be more useful. The problem is that all download links i can find end up on 404's.
Is there someone with a working copy?

Have you checked if any of those download URL's were archived on the wayback machine?

Hrm.
Wayback Machine has not archived that URL.
So i'm back to square one.
I did however contact the person that the domain is currently redirecting to. The initials are the same so theres a good chance it's the same guy with a different hobby now.
Due to time difference it might take him a while to respond, if he's the right person, and if he would bother.

I started looking at the old website in the archive http://web.archive.org/web/200711071...com/codeshine/ .
The downloadlink was in there and tried using that in the searchbox. This link: http://wsdesigns.com/codeshine/codeshineSetup.exe
But came up empty

Bummer. I spent a few minutes trying to track it down and also came up empty.
There are a few sites that are high on the Google search results list that I didn't visit that might have it available, but most likely are just delivering malware or other annoyances.
Good luck.

i've tried those sites. The actual download links there link back to the original website's url.. so no mirror there.
I've been trying my luck with the original author of the software, as well as some other places online with VB6 enthousiasts.
Ill keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for the help.

Re: CodeShine available somewhere for refactoring
Just to update for anyone that will find this through Google or on Forum. I've gotten my hands on the installer for codeshine for vb6. It actually has a working extract method ( Needs Option Explicit to be declared ).
I am unsure if i am allowed to redistribute it for others. So if you're interested send me a message. If someone knows if it can be distributed ( original website being offline for years ) i'd be happy to provide a mirror somewhere ( could use a tip on where this will survive the best) .
