Win-10 20H2, Word95, and HP Deskjet 500C Only Will Print first page

    I print rarely.
Just tried to print a two page document from Word95.
    Page 1 printed fine.
Page 2 (second) hung and said "out of paper".
    Tried multiple times, same error.

Copied page 2 to another Word95 document, without
changing anything else, and Printed fine.

Anyone have any ideas how to troubleshoot?

Try printing a 2 page document form Wordpad or Notepad to see if you get the same error. If you do, it is most likely a printer error and has nothing to do with Word95. Check the printer's paper detect sensors or switches for scraps of paper or other obstructions.

    jdc2000:
    Thanks for the suggestions.
Searching the net resulted in a few hits with the same issue, but only one solution (not HP printer) where the printer manufacturer was able to resolve the problem for the owner for their printer.

    FollowUp:
I went into Control Panel for printer and removed option for spooler and selected direct print. Two pages printed without a hitch. Not sure how one troubleshoots using the spooler, but works for now.
