(ask) Error when split code on screen

Excuse me guys, i have a problem when im trying to split my code like left and right in my screen,
my vs 2012 is not responding and closed.

I've searched several forums but could not find it, here I show the video.

Hi Hugoyaw,

You are going to have to give us more specific details about the problem that you are having, just showing us the result of the problem without explaining what you are actually trying to achieve, or even what is actually going wrong doesn't give us anything to work with.

An example of the code, where it doesn't do what you want, will also be required if anyone is going to be able to help.

This isn't really a coding question, more of a Visual Studio question.

It is certainly a bug, but not one that I have seen before. You are using a version of Visual Studio that is 9 years old, and that very well may be the root cause.

I generally do not split my code like how you demonstrated in the video (for those of you who didn't watch it, hugoyaw grabbed the tab handle, hovered it over the desired position, and released the mouse; at that point VS crashed). Usually what I will do is go to Window > New Vertical Tab Group. For now, can you try that as a work around?
