Monitoring Event Viewer for Application Instance
Im looking to collect the following information when an application posts to the event viewer: Type, Date, Time, Source, Event.
I have been able to access the Computer Name and Source. I can't seem to find any documents referencing to the rest of the data points.
TIA

Which Operating System?
In Windows 10 for example - inside the viewer you can right click on a event and "Copy Details."
Wi-fi went down for five minutes, so I had to talk to my family....They seem like nice people.

Re: Monitoring Event Viewer for Application Instance
so I created the object and see the properties in the debug window. EventID for example has a return value of -2147481647 and the Event Type = 2, EventCategory=0... Not sure what this means or how to convert?
