Commercial Data Grid with Best Budget

    Hi gurus,

Anyone can suggest what the best commercial datagrid for VB6
    - Componentone TDBGrid
    - Ultragrid
    - etc

Recently, I stumbled with germany activex DataGrid - SevDataGrid with 149 Euro. I think this one really good, and I guess cheaper than other commercial datagrid

I use LynxGrid for my application, But not do enough as I expected

    Thank you

They took the free SGrid and debugged it, and enhanced the **** out of it.
    They provide tons of examples.
    Does everything but whistle Dixie

PS I use the free SGrid 2 as I don't need the extra features that are in the iGrid
PPS You can download the iGrid (and all of the examples).
It is fully functional, with the occasional popup Nag msgbox

iGrid from 10tec is the grid I chose and I couldn't be happier. Not only does it do everything and MORE, the developer is beyond responsive. Best support I've ever encountered. Can not recommend a product or company more.

    The downloads are top left.
Ignore the Very top ones (VB5)

There are 3 related to VB6 (you don't need all 3)
    VB6 SGrid 2 Binary (173K)
    VB6 SGrid 2 Demonstration (138K)
    VB6 SGrid 2 Full Source (419K)

    Rob
PS A vbforums thread called -'S Grid Help'
    https://www.vbforums.com/showthread....ighlight=sgrid
That thread was about a specific problem a member was having, which I helped out on (as RobCrombie)
Post 7 has a download of the SGrid 2 Help file, which I modified so as to be run independent of you running the SGrid
What may be of additional interest to you (and others) is Post 29
Someone in the thread could have alarmed our members by saying it was a beast to install.
I was trying to convince members to try it, so I responded with an Installer (post 29) to make that easier.

I can check further tomorrow, but in the meantime if you Google for -
    "SGrid 2" site:vbforums.com
You will get a lot of hits

    The links are all broken.
I see that you are very enthusiastic about SGrid2.

But frankly, have you tried Krool's VBFlexGrid?
I am at a stage where I have just started experimenting with VBFlexGrid. It seems to be really powerful. I know very little about SGrid2.
SGrid2 might have been a good one in "those" days. Is it so even now?
Any comparative study of the two ?
Is there any overwhelming reason to prefer SGrid2, or iGrid from 10tec, over Krool's FlexGrid?

Pardon me for being so pesky.
All the Grids are new to me. I would prefer to choose one and stick to it.

It's so old, most links on the vbAccelerator website don't work anymore
Tenner Helland has made a copy of a lot of controls on Github:

i can tell you this,.. and i am not master here, based on my experience,
I tried VBFlexgrid, Lynxgrid, and every free grid activex.

If we talking about free open source, I would recommend Lynxgrid, (someone enhanced it Ii forgot his name, and much more powerful Lynxgrid available at this forum). But after many many forms consist of Lynxgrid, the performance, and sluggish occur, almost unbearable slow for searching, filtering, etc.

Finally , I try 10tec iGrid, and so far the best one I use for budget grid
