VBA Access Form - Open For Print Preview Only - Do not show form after print
Hi there,
I've got a button on my form that I want to use to open another form for print preview (as I then want the user to be able to adjust printer settings/layout/etc., before printing).
So, I can successfully open my form in print preview by using the following code:
Code:
DoCmd.OpenForm "Picklist", acPreview
However, when I do this, the form opens in print-preview and once I hit print, or cancel, it then goes on to open the form in form view... which I do *not* need.
Is there a way to open the form for print preview and then NOT open the form in formview?
Thanks

Re: VBA Access Form - Open For Print Preview Only - Do not show form after print
did you try closing the form as the next line of code?
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next
dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part
come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed
