    Question Is it possible to attach a Recordset to a diagram/chart?

    Hello!
    Tell me please,
    maybe there is a solution so that I can use the recordset directly in the diagram?

    Code:
    Dim vRS as Recordset '(ADODB)
    Then, i receive data to it.

    And, then, I want to attach it to the chart:

    Code:
     ActiveSheet.ChartObjects(1).Chart.SeriesCollection.item(1).Values = vRS
    but, result is nothing.

    Maybe you know another way?

    from help, you could try like
    Code:
    Charts("chart1").SeriesCollection.Add _
    source:=vRS
    i have never tested this, change parent object to suit
    i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
    Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next

    dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part
