Moving existing VB6 projects from Windows 98 into Windows 10?
I have a fresh VB6 running on Windows 10 and now I want to move some projects from Windows 98 into Win10. Is it just a matter of copying the files? Are there some common issues that I should be aware of?

probably some will work and some will need fixing, depends what each uses
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next
dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part
come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed

Re: Moving existing VB6 projects from Windows 98 into Windows 10?
I have moved my VB6 projects from Windows 7 to Windows 10 last year. Just copied them all simply. All worked well without any fixing. I don't think you will have problems unless you did not use third party controls or componenets in your projects.
The matter was to install VB6 on Windows 10. I see it you achived it.
