    Image embeds

The forum is randomly picking threads to replace all IMG tags in the first two posts in the threads with invalid URLs. It doesn't seem like this is going to be fixed, and it was suggested I use attachments instead, but those are limited to 5 attachments per thread, so then the solution given was to dump them in a thread here.

Edit: FYI, this does not work.

    Re: Image embeds

This could all be over simply by locating whatever the recent update did that's replacing external images with invalid local URLs... just find the string '/images/ieimages/', one of them has got to be where it's replacing IMG tags with http://www.vbforums.com/images/ieimages/2017/09/1.jpg with the 3 numbers slightly varying but coming back 404.

Was people abusing 3rd party image hosters really a problem? This workaround is such a pain

    Anyway, 2 more...
