[RESOLVED] Trying to find an early posting.
Hi,
Doing what I thought was an update, I managed to install a new version of Thunderbird and that totally lost over 20 years worth of back emails.
I'm trying to find a thread I started in November 2016, by looking through my 'View Forum Posts' but it only goes back to 2017.
Is there somewhere or some way to go back further ?

Re: Trying to find an early posting.
Any search on this site (including "View forum posts" etc) is limited to 500 results. As the "View forum posts" search is for your most recent posts, and you have more than 500, there will be a cut-off for older posts.
You can find the older posts by using the "Advanced Search" option at the top-right of all pages... in your case just searching by username (with the results as Threads) shows them all, as you have regularly posted multiple times in threads, and therefore have much less than 500 results.

Ευχαριστώ Si,
That's solved it... Turns out I needed to go back to Dec 17th, 2014 to find the thread I wanted.

Hi,
I just tried entering 'Ευχαριστώ Si' into Google Translate and it translated that as "Thanks Si,"
Now I'm confused.

OH !
I've just seen what you mean !
Sorry.
I didn't spot it until I read the VB Forum notification. I must've been adding that R for years !

I've blamed "Jimmy the Greek" for influencing the misreading, but that doesn't seem like it would be applicable to someone from the UK, so it must just be common brain pattern matching influence.
