This makes no sense because in your project upon compilation no VB6 code is executed. Do you mean by "generate the .exe" using the File->Make Project1.exe menu?
Can you take a compiled executable from a Win7 machine and run it on your Win10 machine with all ODBC settings working ok?

Yes, when I say "generate the .exe", I mean "File --> Make .exe menu".
I can't run my compiled executable on my Win10 PC, because it's a production software and it needs some values in tables to launch, it has impact on production files, it's too dangerous
But I suppose that it would function while compiled.
You ask it to me because you suppose that when we try to make .exe, it checks ODBC configuration ?
