    Download not working on IPad

    I've got a jQuery based ASP.Net app that allows download of documents.

    The download is not working on an IPad.

    How would I go about debugging something like this?

    I think that we had an issue with a file download on iOS recently but it was not something that I worked on specifically. I'll see if I can find out what the problem was and what the solution was and you can see if the same thing might apply in your case.

    The download is not working on an IPad.
    IPad's are a bit of a pain in that IOS doesn't expose it file structure so you cant just download a file to an IPad or IPhone from Safari apart from Image files.

    I think you maybe able to stream a file across in bytes and re-create the document from bytes on the client, i haven't tested that myself but it might be worth looking into.

    I had forgotten all about this thread. My apologies for that. I'm in the office tomorrow with the guy who did the work so I'll see what I can find out.
