Resolved [RESOLVED] Private Message - sent or not?

    Hi,

I've just had my first attempt to send a private message. Everything seemed to work as expected (other than that I did not get a "message has been sent" indication, or anything like that), but the message does not appear in my 'Sent' folder, so I'm not certain whether or not it actually was sent. I tried a second time, but with the same result.

    Any comments/reassurances?!

    Kind Regards, John

I think sent messages are not added to your sent folder by default. You have to turn on that option.

Many thanks. You're right. It hadn't occurred to me that it would be a configurable option (or, at least, that the default would be as it is) - I don't think I've ever met that one in other forums!

    Thanks again.

    Kind Regards, John

I just ran into this as well. This is highly counter-intuitive behavior, and the lack of "Message sent successfully" feedback makes it look like a bug.
