I apologize for this is not a VB programming question, more of a VB interface problem.

I was just wondering if there was any way to force VB 6 to use the .chm html help files or the .hlp winhelp files that come with it for its F1/Index/Context help system (and not use the MSDN collection).

I can double click either the .chm or .hlp files and read them while I program, but I'd like to be able to select a property, press F1, and have VB 6 open the correct .chm or .hlp file (I think almost all the properties are in one help file anyways).

There are a few registry settings in LocalMachine_Software_Microsoft_Visual Basic_6.0_HelpFiles, one setting for each .chm file. Alas, entering in the path for the chm files does NOT get VB 6 to use them...Any ideas?
