    WRONG

    CHILI'S TERLINGUA CHILI $3.69 - $5.29
Inspired by the home of the original chili cook-off in Terlingua, Texas. Our signature chili with tender chunks of beef slow-cooked with onions, peppers and chilies. Topped with sour cream and cheese.
    http://www.allmenus.com/tx/northeast/42683-chilis/menu/

While not exactly apples per se....a very close second:

    APPLE CHIMICHEESECAKE
Creamy cheesecake and caramel apples wrapped in a tortilla shell and lightly fried. We roll it in cinnamon sugar and place it on a bed of roasted apples. Served with ice cream and topped with caramel sauce.

    $5.99 http://www.applebees.com/menu/desser...imi-cheesecake

Only if they chop him up and serve him to their customers...

We have a local restaurant named Canary's where canary does not appear on the menu.

I've been to many Chuck's steakhouses - even met Chuck twice. They do serve burgers - which are most likely made of chuck.

    Where does that fit in?

We used to have a local joint heavily trafficked by students back in the day: Lizard's Underground. It was definately "underground" on a subgrade level of the building but I never saw any lizard on the menu.

They did make a good ratatouille though, and it was an evening music venue for local and regional talent. Ahh, the '70s!

Yeah but the food all comes out of cans.

There's a pub near me called the Rat and Parrot. Do I score double?

There's a pub in Southampton called the Hobbit. Peter Jackson's film company recently tried to sue them for use of the name.

I think that was one of the reasons ours closed down also but I think it was before any of the movies were made.

Ours actually made the national news. It's been there since the 80s so Peter Jackson trying to claim he had some prior claim to the name was a bit ridiculous. Even the actors in the film were telling them it was ridiculous. In fact I seem to remember Jackson himself also thought it was ridiculous but it was lawyers in the film company that kicked it off and then didn't want to back down. Eventually they dropped it but not before making themselves look like total idiots.

For the record, they don't serve hobbits as a starter (although the Gandalf cocktail is pretty good).

You do realize it was a book written a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Yeah, but Tolkien wasn't in the habit of suing people every five minutes. Peter Jackson, on the other hand...

With a name like 'Refrigerator' one would think you could only put items in it that were frozen at least once before.
