VB 2010 express password to show / hide TabControl

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me, I am making a website, all of the content is built on TabControl, but I want to use a username and password to make the TabControl visible.

I have created a textbox for username and textbox for password and button to activate, but I can't figure out how to use that to show / hide the TabControl,

is this possible, see below for my code for username / password / button.
I have shown the bit that I am stuck on in red

    Thanks for any assistance.

If TextBox1.Text = "username" And TextBox2.Text = "password" Then TabControl () Else MsgBox("Username or Password incorrect.", MsgBoxStyle.Critical, "Information")

Re: VB 2010 express password to show / hide TabControl

    Hi Again,

I am refining what I am trying to achieve, is there any way that I can use a button to show or hide a rectangle or an image in a website.

When using form applications, I just type rectangle.show but this does not seem to work in website?

I am using VB Express 2010, but now have downloaded VS Community 2013,

    Thanks for any assistance.
