Deploying Mobile APP into MC9190 Pistol Device

    Hello everyone.
I'm having quite a predicament on deploying a software into the MC9190 Pistol.

I used the "Smart Device CAB Project" approach to deploy the application into the device, which in turn resulted on the output of a .cab file, which I copied into the device itself.

The application is deployed into the device when the .cab file is executed and everything seems to be ok.
However, when I try to run the application I get the following error:

To run this application, you must first install one of the following version of the .NET Compact Framework: v2.0.50727

Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Compact Framework.

So I figured that the pistol possibly didn't have the correct Framework Version needed for this app, so I downloaded the following versions to test it:

    http://www.s-church.net/software/poc....wm.armv4i.cab

    http://code.google.com/p/pocketwit/d...i.cab&can=2&q=

After downloading each of these packages, I copied them into the device and deployed them and still I get the same error, described above.

I'm probably missing something or am doing this the wrong way.
Either way, I'm in need of guidance here, because this is pretty much the barrier I need to overcome in order to perform changes into the existing software on the device.

I would probably try this download since it's from Microsoft itself:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=22808

I would un-install the others, reboot the device, install the above, reboot the device, install my app, reboot the device, and then see if it works.

Yes, I'm a little superstitious about rebooting windows.

Not having any experience with mobile devices, I'm at a loss at this point.

Well, I don't have any experience with them either lol. I just started to tinker with mobile apps, as a request to my IT director, sooooo yeah...

It was worth the shot anyway, so thanks. Hopefully a saviour will appear
