Try this download from Microsoft maybe (MVC Training Kit):

Some days when I think about the next 30 years or so of my life I am going to spend writing code, I happily contemplate stepping off a curb in front of a fast moving bus.

    Re: Anyone have MVC courseware?

Assume you want to learn MVC?
Tons of resources available online, so won't try duplicating that.
Just want to warn you to have patience. MVC evolved fast, resulting in most tutorials and the likes either focus on teaching how to use MVC 1 or what's new in MVC 2.
As far I know there's no proper book yet on MVC 2, and I'm sure we can expect a MVC 3 in the next year.

Just study what you can find about MVC (which will be 1) and keep an open mind to when you come across "what's new in MVC 2"

Forget courseware..nothing get close to Pro Asp.Net MVC by Steve Anderson. Study that book and you are set (Just as refreshener I'm going over the book again, but using 2010/.Net 4/MVC 2.....still works with minor modifications you can just search for. Get that book!

Sean: You're an absolute star. That's perfect thanks.
Krokonoster: No, I want to teach MVC. I don't have courseware for it (i.e. notes to last 2 days in front of 9 people )

    Hey,

You might want to take a look at Scott Gu's blog, twitter feed, he has a wealth of information on MVC.

Take note of what Krokonoster, there have been some pretty big changes/enhancements in the new release of MVC 2.0.

    My bad.
Those training kit normally have a lot of presentations in it. Easy to put in your own name and look pro. ;-) (Yeah, I did that )

As well as Scotts blog, Phil Haacks is very MVC focused.

Suggest M use the links posted here to update that List of ASP.NET tutorials

Actually wanted to suggest a whole new section for MVC (come on....it's on top of asp.net, but it's pretty different from web forms, for which all questions seems to be about about webform user controls, and user controls are 99% different once you are without view state). A trial at least?

    Hey,

I think that might be a good idea.

As for an additional dedicated forum for MVC questions, it is certainly worth asking the question. A new forum was created for both WCF/WPF/WF and Silverlight, so it would make sense (in my mind) to have one for MVC.

I brought this topic up about 6 months ago and at the time there wasnt deemed enough interest. Raise a forum feedback thread and see what happens.

    Vote?

Really not interested in a debate, but I'm sure I'm not alone in stop coming to VBF because I know I wont be able to discuss MVC here. (End up using another forum for this, and getting annoyed by notifications of replies to my posts...by myself!)

Got to roll with the times if you ask me...but maybe that's just me.

I hope so, just need to make sure we can make the traffic and post reflect that. So I'm happy for anyone to write guides/intro to MVC and I shall make a sticky FAQ at the top of here. Just PM me if you have any suggestions,.

    Hey,

If I free up some time, I should be able to knock up a couple articles, but things are quite busy for me just now.
