    Angry VB programming with Biomatric Fingerprint Scanner

    Dear all

    Recently I have purchased HIP BRAVO5 fingerprint scanner for my personal project. But I got executable file only which support to download recoreds from the device.

    But I need to write that downloading part in my porgramme. I have some Dll and ocs files (zkemkeeper.dll,zkemsdk.dll,Biokey.ocx). Buit I dont know how I use those files.

    Any one can help me to write those communication part in VB6.

    Please help me I am in big problem.

    Does the vendor supply an SDK?

    Without something like that, it will be very difficult to write your own code for this device.

    They give me a setup with the Dlls. It is locally written SKD not original one

    So you have examples of how to use the DLLs and OCX files with VB6?

    No I do not have examples. They gave me only setup it will create exe and some dlls copied in to system32 folder only

    After Reference that dll or ocx,

    check the Object , is it have any Method

    Start
    getSignature
    Capture
    Save

    like that
    else
    send the dll

    Dear Experts,

    I also have these things in my project (zkemkeeper.dll,zkemsdk.dll,Biokey.ocx), but i dont know how to connect.Please provide a sample code for the same.

    I also have a problem on zkemkeeper.dll can you please give sample code for getting the logs of the bio metric?
