Talking [RESOLVED] object library not registered?

    hello....

when i opened my program in another pc,
the vb application asked for the .ocx components -
    mscomctl.ocx and mscomct2.ocx....

i registered those ocx components at start>>run>>
    using this statement ----- regsvr32 <path of the ocx>

then, i tried adding the ocx in the components of the
vb application ... but an error occurs... it's

    "object library not registered"

i don't understand why it still has this error
where in fact i've already registered the ocx components asked
    by the application...

can anybody tell me what needs to be done?
i really need it badly... help will be greatly appreciated....

Copy the two OCX files you listed into your Windows\System32 folder then use:

    Regsvr32.exe mscomctl.ocx

    and

    Regsvr32.exe mscomct2.ocx

Do you get a message on both saying they were successful in being registered?

it is actually located in my system32 folder...
yups, it prompted a message that i've successfully
    registered the two ocx components..
i also tried your suggestion, but it still has the same problem....

    Maybe de-register then register again?

Open the vbp file and find the lines with those components on them and delete them. Open your app and re-add them in VB. The CLSID's are probably wrong for your computer.

Btw the way also check the version of the files you are registering with the line in your vbp file to see if they are the same. Post the versions for each file.

    Re: object library not registered?

That's not going to help... You either have multiple versions of the files in the registry or you are attempting to use the wrong version.

    regsvr32 /u yourfile.ocx
