American's more ill than the English

Maybe warm beer, and cucumber sandwiches do have their merits?

At every cricket match up and down the country. It's also known as real ale.

Re: American's more ill than the English
Well, did they take into account that the closer a population is to equator, the greater propensity they have to free radicals in their body - damaging organs, tissues, and even DNA - hence have shorter life spans?
The US certainly has a large amount of people (California and Florida) living far closer to the equator than any Englishman is.
Although I could also believe many American's still drive too much.

I reckon it's more to do with below (and I regret to display this picture due to the innumerate Americans who will begin to salivate intensely)

Re: American's more ill than the English
Hmm.
This study was based on the individuals reporting what they had.
Why didn't they just check real statistics.
for example, if you go to http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/d/diab...ts-country.htm
You will see that statistically, concerning Diabetes:
Diabetes Prevalance :
US 17,273,847 / 293,655,405 = 5.8823528%
UK 3,545,335 / 60,270,708 = 5.8823516%
So if you apply the difference in percentages to the US Pop, we have 3 more people than the UK with a Prevalance of diabetes.
Diabetes Incidence:
US 861,533 / 293,655,405 = .2933823%
UK 176,823 / 60,270,708 = .2933813%
So if you apply the difference in percentages to the US Pop, we have 2 more people than the UK with an incidence of diabetes.

There's no "America is bad" shock value in those numbers, NotLKH.
