    Button wierdness

    hmmm this is odd

    I have a button, ASP.NET button.

this button inserts a record into SQL, does a singular email, and then does a Response.Redirect(""); and this works fine on my local box.

If I upload this to my webhosting, when you press the submit button, it does:

    1) insert record in SQL
    2) Sends out email

but fails to redirect! I just get a blank page!!! I tried to take out the Redirect, and replace it with "Response.Write("hi")) and it does that just fine.

I have Redirects all over the site and they all work fine, why does this one not work?

I also just added a link button to do a redirect alone and doesnt work, so seems like its the page itself that is a problem but no idea where!

A blank page, not an error page?

And the URL passed into Response.Redirect() is the same "style" as the other, working, redirects?

What happens when you say, redirect to a different page? Does it work then?

    Re: Button wierdness

    nope.

on that page, regardless where u do a redirect, it doesnt work - you just get a blank page - no errors.

if i take the redirect out, it works fine but i need to do a redirect.

on any other page, it works fine no problems. Don't understand why this page wont work. Works fine locally, but not when uploaded!

I have also deleted and recreated the button to see if it would make a difference and as expected, it didn't.
