    Resolved [RESOLVED] [2005] System.ArgumentException

    This section of code:

    VB Code:
    1. Dim newRow As RssFeedsDataSet.NewsItemRow = RssFeedsDataSet1.NewsItem.NewNewsItemRow
    2.                         newRow.Title = title
    3.                         newRow.Description = currentNewsItem.Description
    4.                         newRow.Link = currentNewsItem.Link
    5.                         newRow.ChannelID = currentChannel.ChannelID
    6.                         newRow.DateAcquired = DateTime.Now()
    7.
    8.                         RssFeedsDataSet1.NewsItem.AddNewsItemRow(newRow)'EX thrown here

    throws

    System.ArgumentException was caught
    Message="Cannot set column 'Title'. The value violates the MaxLength limit of this column."
    Source="RSSReader"
    StackTrace:
    at RSSReader.MainForm.queryChannels() in MainForm.vb:line 557
    at RSSReader.MainForm.AddChannel() in MainForm.vb:line 319
    I'm assuming it's throwing that when it is putting the title into the DB, but the title of the article is 109 characters, and inside by DB I have item set to varchar(1000). is there something im overlooking in the db?

    Re: [2005] System.ArgumentException

    Well, I was looking at the xsd file within my solution and it turns out it was set to 50 and not 1000, so I did correct that.
