    Resolved [RESOLVED] Is it possible to create/amend an Enum list at run-time

    VS2005

    I would like to build an Enum list from an XML file at run-time ... is this possible?

    No it isn't. An enumeration is a type just like a class. Changing your compiled app at run time is technically possible but it is a very advanced topic and one that the overwhelming majority of developers should never even consider tackling. If you want to build a list of key/value pairs then you'd use a collection of some sort, like a SortedList, Hashtable or some Generic type.
