    Disabling form elements in Firefox

    Hi, I'm trying to disable a set of form elements, I've managed to get it to work in IE by using the "disabled" attribute of a <span>, but firefox doesnt seem to recognise it and therefore doesnt disable the <span>.
    Anyone know how I can do this?

    You can't "disable" a span tag, there's nothing to disable. You can disable a form element by placing
    HTML Code:
    disabled="disabled"
    as an attribute.

    If you want to disable a bunch of them, you have to disable each individually.
