    password protecting my ASP.NET page

    Hello,

How can I make my ASP.NET webpage password protected? I need to create something like a session in ASP.NET and it needs to be checked on every page that should be protected. I'm also doing my scripting in VB.NET so if it needs to be specified in VB.NET that's OK.

Look into authentication. You can basically use forms authentication so that if the user tries to access a restricted page it pops them to a logon form.
