    Wink text based winsock battler (especially need someone to do a ranking system)

    im working on a text based battler. im looking for more programmers. below is the attached project to get a better idea of how it will work.

    You join or create a game after choosing your character. then you have chakra which is how often you can attack.

    so you choose your attack and a message like this would be sent to the chat.

    Admin: Sim punches gx for 5 damage.
    Sim: haha, I got you.
    Admin: gx kicks Sim for 3 damage.
    gx: got you back.
    Admin: Sim trys to throw gx, but fails.

    untill someone dies and there can be up to 2-10 people in a game.

    So far theres about 30 characters and 30 weapons, ranking system will be in place.

    O.K I'm quite interested here. Just two probs:

    1. You haven't stated which language the code is in.
    2. The download link doesn't work.

    Oh! I played a game like this before (it was web based though). Omg, but it was so long ago and I can't remember the name of it, it was like dragon something.... I do remember, however, that I always got my butt whoped . Anyways...I am familiar with it, but I'm to busy with my own stuff to help out, what you could always do is go through the userlist and start to PM users, the worst that can happen is that they say no, or don't reply at all .
