    database question..

Posted here cause I dont know if i need a databse to do this..

I want to store info on my webserver and get my application to read the files .. and update its status in a text file and send the contents to the webserver.. anyways.. my cheap method of writing a file and using inet to upload it was working great.. but alot of the time it tries to write to the file when its uploading and i get a runtime error.. would using a database solve this? or is there anyway to get around the runtime error?

    Thanks

my personal preference when saving, editing, deleting information, or what are also known as records is to use a backend database. there are many to choose from. you can code your program to do all of this from within the application.
