    File Properties Dialog

I once made a little program that would display the properties dialog of the file or folder specified by a path. I can't remember how I did that. I'm aware that any proper Google search will turn up with results about using ShellExecuteEx, but I thought I did it in a much simpler fashion. If I remember correctly, I just used the Shell function with a certain DLL. I remember that you could pass it different parameters to get it to open different dialogs.

Does anyone know of such a method of calling up the properties dialog? Or is my memory deluding me?

Sure, they'd probably work, but that's not what I asked.

Perhaps you want to change your attitude a bit and be a little more appreciative to someone (and I am NOT talking about myself now but rather anyone in general) for trying to volunteer to help you. You can be assure it won't be me anymore.

    Have a good life.

With all due respect, your replies strongly gave me the idea that you had not bothered to read my post very carefully. If I am mistaken, I apologize, but then I do not understand why you made those replies, as they do not answer my question.
